sooo heres the new issue. when im driving down the road it sounds like a darn chain is dragging behind the truck. that is the best way to describe the noise. i hear it good at slow speeds but the reason it isnt so loud is because the exhaust is. so if any one else has or had this problem just let me know.

PS: i was thinking its a u joint in the rear shaft...their is no clunking or grinding so i dont think its the rear end.

Sounds like the rear Diff is starting to fail ..... take the cover off and do a fluid change .. while your in there see if you have chunks of metal sitting on the bottom .... one of your spider gears may have failed ..
