98 Dakato, how do i take apart the air conditioner lines, after depressuring. Need to replace heater core. It's the round clamp on the hose that's i am talking about. Thanks

Ummm ..... why do you have to disconnect the A/C to get to the heater core?

with everything i have read, it states i have to remove the air box, thus, it is necessary to disconnect the ac. Has anyone done a 98 model, if so is this necessary or not. After removing or rolling the dash i will try heater core first, before doing the ac. this is my first on a dodge Thank's for any info
