Subject: O2 Sensor?

I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota, V6 with a problem I cant figure out. After starting when cold,it idles rough, responses very poorly to the throttle, and the only fault code it is throwing is a PO152 O2 Sensor circuit High voltage,Bank 2 Sensor 1

After driving a bit, it responds better to the pedal.the warmer it gets, the better it responds. When cold, you have to press the pedal all the way before it leaps ahead. As it gets warmer, you only have to press it half way before it surges ahead. After reaching normal operating temps, it responds just fine.
Can a bad O2 sensor make it run poorly just when its cold, but then its okay when it warms up?After driving the whole day, the engine warning light will go out on its own, but come back on the next day after a cold start.

Yes the 02 can act as you have described just replace the one it says is bad and it should run ok again. Mostly you will have a lost fuel mileage as well when an 02 goes bad sometimes the throttle position sensor can cause the same problem
Good Luck

If it was the throttle postion sensor, wouldnt it throw a fault code for that?Funny you should mention the throttle postion sensor, it was my first thought.Had a 93 Geo prizm that acted the same way, and it ended up being a throttle position sensor.
