I went to NJ last weekend to see the tfnitro dragsters and funnycars....and you know what i saw on 90 percent of the teams that raced was vavoline syn oil 20-50...Yea there were teams that used penzoil..and royal purple and amsoil..but those teams were sponsored by those oils.....and they get there oil for free....the ones that use vavoline were also sponsored by amsoil royalpurple....Makes you think? Im not here to debate the other oils..But im going to use valvoline for a while to see if it changes my gas mileage and punch.....Ill tell you what i find in 3 months from today!!!!!!

Harry, everyone has got their opinion on motor oil. This will probably start a childish display by the troll/trolls here but, in the 30 years I've been driving and owning vehicles I have used nothing but Valvoline and have nothing but praise for the products.
It is a top notch oil.

I forgot to tell you that they use the valvoline oil for just one run...With the extreme detenation of the nitromethane, it puts extreme pressure on the rods, crankshaft and pistons...with the mods i have done to my engine its definatly going to make a similar differance to the way my engine burns its gas....see you in 3 months with an update.....

ok went to mass to maine to nh to vermont to ny and then back home a total of 683 miles...my best mileage was 24.3 but that was the same I did with other oils so i guess it doesnt matter what oil you use....there all the same....some just last longer than others....I tried them all...Guess now its just a matter of personal preference!!!!....If im changing my oil at 3000 mile anyway ill just stick with a cheap syn oil...and a qt of lucas like i did in the past....im out of here bye good luck
