Message:
99 3.9L 4WD, after about .5-1 mile of driving at low speeds
truck starts to stall, when i give it gas it starts to backfire. I've
changed the plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, aft O2 sensor, fuel
pump/filter/regulator, ignition coil. cleaned the intake manifold
several times. check harness's visually but havent metered much
besides fuel injectors and MAP sensor. still no fix.

no fault codes. and goes away after gassing it for 30 seconds or
so.

ive googled some similar problems but cant seem to find
anything that fixed it.

i'm at the point of throwing parts at it now.

any fixes out there would be appreciated as parts a getting
pricy.

thanks.

seems like this is happing at the PCM's "idle mode". i checked the
ASD relay and tests ok.

if i buy a new PCM, will i need to dealer to FLASH it? or will it be ok
to install as is?

What about the IAC - Idle control - back of throttle body .
Front 02 sensor ? this is the one that controls mixture - the back one checks on the cat..
