Hi All,

I have an '03 3.9 QC with 60,000. I can't get the truck to downshift to a low gear when going up a steep hill. I can floor the thing and nothing, just climbs the hill at 25 - 30 MPH tops. Has no problems downshifing other places when I call for power though. Any ideas?

sounds like the pressure sensor and sol are bad

dealer around $200 than drop the pan so you remove
the corect ones they just plug in

another thing could be speed sensor on rear end
or throttle position sensor but most likly the
sensor and sol

is it throwing any codes

No codes yet. I bought the truck about 3000 miles ago. I checked the fluid yesterday and it looks a little over-full and I noticed foam\bubbles on the dipstick. I was going to drop the pan and change the filters and refill with the proper amount of ATF-4 on Friday and see if that matters.

On an 07, wouldn't that be a warranty repair?
