You should feel it in the buttometer.

Stock - or economy - setting didn't do anything.

Performance setting changes the timing and you should really feel an uptick when you hit the gas.

I think the Tow setting keeps it from going into overdrive, plus changes the timing. Should only use that setting when towing.

It was worth it to me, and the one that was on my V6 is for sale in another post here.
