Subject: 1989 Dodge Dakota heater hoses
IP: Logged

Message:
Hello....my 1989 Dodge Dakota 3.9 started leaking water inside the cab a few years ago. A friend RE-ARRANGED the hoses so it would no longer leak....but that left me with no warmth inside the truck. I live in Orlando, Florida and temperatures have been plummeting to below 70 degees recently. The friend has left town and I would like to put the hoses back to where they were so I can then try the backflush technique to restore warmth.

Right now the hoses are as follows:

One hose comes from water pump and is attached to the TOP of motor.

One hose comes from the UPPER connection on firewall mount. It goes to a splice and then continues with more hose but is not attached to anything.

The LOWER connection on firewall is open.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kenny
