I just wanted to thank those of you that have written your many many psotings regarding information on our trucks. Since first visiting this page, I have made some improvments to my truck, mainly for milage and performance
Autolite 3923 - better starting
8.5mm wires - mainly for future mods
Dynomax muffler - supposed to be better milage, but I just love the sound so much I never take my foot off the gas
K&N custom intake - same as muffler, performs really well with above
Block and U-Bolt lift in back 2 inches - to accomdate larger tires this fall
Torsion Bar crank and wheel alignment - same as above
Thanks angain everyone my 96 dak 4x4 has new life and I can pass people on hills now. Its great!! Is the T-Stat really worth the time that it takes to install, or is under drive pulleys the next course?

i have under drive pulleys and a 180 t-stat......they both really dont help that much the pulleys help a lil bit but on take off it slows me down =( and 180 t-stat i didnt see any performance out of it but i got it for when i get a new computer module.
and if you get a 180 t-stat goto autozone or pepboys they sell them for $5 in stead of $20 out of a magizine =)

Get the Pulley. Get about 1/2 mpg improvement and a slight increase in power. No bad side effects.
