Gang, I'm at a loss on a trouble code that I haven't been able to hunt much info down on. I have an 04 with the 3.7 and it's throwing a "P0499 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit High" or better known as another smog nazi BS code!
I've tried a fresh gas cap, and there doesn't look like there are any cracked lines around the canister. Does anybody have thoughts on what to try from here??? I'm leaning towards a black marker or some electrical tape to cover the engine light. ;)
