What is the avg. STOCK times? I hear from 17-20?!?!
My friends Chevy Extreme 4.3L ran a 16.68 stock.. could the 3.9L compete?

it depends on your mods. i raced a s-10 xtremme(i have no idea what the mods were) in my 2001 3.9 cc dak sport 2wd and i beat it, i didnt spank it but, i clearly beat it.(that sounded kinda funny)that was when my truck was stock. now i have an intense performance intake, stage 2 jet chip, 180 stat, gibson exaust and i can spank alot of xtremmes. im not calling you a liar but i dont think the xtremme ran a 16, cause i dont think my truck will run a 16. but yes around where i live there is definitley alot of competiton between the xtremme kids and the dakota guys.

I too think he's full of it, running a 16.68, but we'll find out soon, I'm going to race that sunnavab*tch to settle it.

5 speed 280 hp lot of mods suercharged.

i dont think hes full of it. a 16.68 on a s10 with a 4.3 sounds very realistic. there quick little trucks, i would think that would be a extended cab time, the rc would b alittle faster maybe. i think my dak stock might have been able to pull a high 16 maybe? its a rc 2wd power nothing except steering, no ac, 5 speed.

Well I have a 99 Dakota 3.9 auto 2wd club cab. The only mods at the time I raced where: JBA headers, Flowmaster, Jet Stage 2 chip, 180 thermostat and custom air induction with K&N air filter. This was done at Carlsbad and it was a hot day 92 or higher. This was done with an empty bed but I have a bed cover.
60 foot --- 2.736
330 foot -- 7.495
1/8 E.T. - 11.404
1/8 Mph -- 63.31
1/4 E.T. - 17.681
1/4 Mph -- 78.75
Yuck.

a friend at my last base came up to the drag strip with us cause he kept telin us he was runnin 15's and his is a 2000 slt 2wd auto 3.55 rear.. his time ALL night was 17.7 BONE STOCK.
You gotta ask yourself one question...That Thing Got A HEMI???

What do you think abhout racing a sst ram with a 360? My 92 cc auto w/open air filter, V8 TB, no cat, dynomax duals w/ a turbo tube, amsoil atf. Ill prlly lose, but will it be bad. I maintain my truck pretty good, where he doesnot and we both have about 140000 on the clock.

I have a 97 Dodge Dakata Sport with a V-6 3.9 liter in it. The only mods I have done to it is a cat-back duel exhaust. I wanted to Know what my 1/4 mile tme would be. And also i dont like the sound of the cherry bomb muffler on it, and i wanted to know how a flowmasters would sound on it?????

the 40 series flowmaster on my v6 sounds bada$$!!! it isnt loud enough for me, but it makes good sound at idle and is there when you want to hear it. on the highway i dont have to turn up the radio so it's a little quiet for me, i thought it would be too loud but was wrong.
