it also shows that you havnt done research you just found a forum and made a quick post.
I know the 3.9l to 5.9l has been done not sure about the 3.9l to 4.7l but i know with this swap there is a lot more involved. In the end choose which engine you prefer more or even find a truck with the engine already dropped in, it might be easier to deal with if your not planning on doing major mods.

Don't attempt the 4.7. The 5.9 isn't too bad, but it's balanced different, you will need a new harmonic balancer (I got mine from a 2500 ram).

Swap it to a 318 to avoid all the headaches.

Its not the harmonic ballancer they are the same

The 360 you need to weld a weight on the torque
converter and in the right posision

smrtrans.com has the weights and a template so
it goes on in the right spot

Not the ballancer

On the newer 360 like 99 to 03 the weight is on the flex plate and not on the torque converter.... im not sure about before 99 ...

That's what I meant, the flex plate. I have a 5 speed; I made a mistake stating the balancer.

Yes but if you use a 360 you buy the weights and
template kit and weld the weight on to the V6
converter and your all set

This is also what we do when we change out a 360
where a 318 was just weld the weight on

The template hooks on the welded on converter
bolt squares only 1 way and has a hole where you
set the weight than just remove the template

the older 318 to 360 swap also had to do this
if you don't it will shake at idle
and weld on

Very easy job
