try this next time:
Turn key to ON-not START. Wait for a few seconds, you will hear fuel pump relay click. Then turn to start. I bet it fires right up.
Fuel pressure is bleeding off is what is causing the problem.

changed fuel pump relay as it had gone but still will not start a friend just introduced a live to coil for a second aand it started does that mean the starter relay could be faulty

If your engine cranks it's not the starter relay. BTW-all the relays in the box are interchangeable.

try swapping out the ASD relay with one of the other known good relays and see if that works.

here we are again

does the engine crank over but not start
or
does it not crank over

check your gronds and starter wire connections if
you live where they use salt on the roads the
starter gets covered with it every time you drive
