 Subject: afe intake fit on 3.9l?

i have a 2000 dakota 3.9l and saw the afe intakes and they look nice and waz wondering if neone knew if it fits the 3.9l and if it did anything for them. the k&n lets in dirt that i have now its oiled and cleaned correctly but u can c a light layer of dust so i looked at the afe they have one that isnt oiled and is reusable and one that you do oil? which works better? on afe webssite it says it fits 00-03 5.9l so wouldnt it fit the 3.9l also since most stuff does?

most 5.2 setups just requier a little modding
and they fit fine
some just the mouting braket some just shorten
the tube and they fit great
do it all the time
