i will put in a new battery, problem was, without the truck running, i couldnt get to the store to get a new 1 unless i could find a ride
i asked the previous owner, its the stock battery, so its a good 7+ years, its had a good run, but its time as come

mine gave up the ghost at about 7-1/2 yrs. truck would still start but idled rough on a cold start and i just didn't trust it anymore.

ive never had any problems with it, so i never thought twice about replacing it, but when i heard it was the stock battery, i figured it had a good life
so the plan for tomorrow is get another cable to run purely for the fusebox so the other cable is purely for the starter, and a new battery and i should be on the road again
