I replaced my power steering lines and they have been leaking at the rack ever since. It's not enough to leave puddles but enough to make is very slightly wet around the rack. I've taken them off and replaced the o-rings twice now. when i tighten back up i make sure not to overtighten the nuts so i don't crush the o-rings but then a few days later it starts leaking. So i crawl underneath and put a wrench on and can always end up tightening them some more rather easily but then my steering gets springy like it's not enough pressure in the system. At no time is there ever foam or air bubbles in the pump either. I already have a new pump on but question the rack at 87,000 miles. Maybe theres a block somewhere inside the rack and forcing fluid out the fittings. I don't know!!

I had a similar problem on a Honda Prelude I used to have. It turns out that I was putting the wrong type of power steering fluid in the system. It ate the seals. Could be you're either putting the wrong type of O rings in there and they're being eaten by the PS fluid that's in your system, or vice versa.

I ended up just putting a rebuilt rack in. I don't recall it being all that expensive... Never leaked again.
