Thanks for the info. Iwant to make sure of one other thing. Ihave a 94 3.9l that is 4x4 with 5 speed trans. The motor I am wanting to get is out of a 93 conv. van with auto trans, I have heard that you cannot take a two wheel drive motor and swap it into a 4x4 trans, is this true? Thanks guys.

The 4X4 verse the 2wheel drive shouldn't be a problem, if you put the auto transmission in that could be a problem, you would need to change the computer as well. I think. Auto's need to have a signal from the computer to shift, when and how fast, and when to go into overdrive. That's on most of the cars I have worked on, my own Dakota is a 5speed so I could be wrong.
