I used the Monroe Sensa Track from Advance Auto Parts for about $35.00 each. Some here prefer the Monroe Reflex though. With 2wd and if you don't go off road much the Sensa Track is a really good shock for the money.

Do not replace the shocks, you will not notice much of a differance from old and new, Save your money for the gas pumps.

what the hell are you talking about??? you'll notice a big difference between old and new! Monroe's aren't that great so yeah maybe you won't notice a difference. Go with a little more expensive shock and you'll notice. I've got KYB's on my 2wd and prefer them over the monroe's. They are not too terribly much more expensive than the monroe's either. Very nice ride but still feels like a truck. Put a sandbag or two in the back and VERY nice ride. I leave the sandbag out though cause i want better MPG but a 100 pounds shouldn't hurt you that bad.

like i say , save your money for the gas, you even said yourself its still a truck and you have to add a 100 pounds of sand to make it ride better. If you really feel you have to buy new shocks the cheap ones will serve you just fine.

"mydakotasucks" if you replace the shocks your truck will track better and get better MPG. You will not hydroplane as easily also. Shocks are there for a reason. I did all 4 on my 4X4 for under $100.
