Subject: leak?

My truck is a '95 with the 3.9 mag and 134,600 on the odometer and I' thinking about switching to synthetic fluids for my tranny and engine oil but before I do I was wondering if I should worry about causing a major leak somewhere by doing that or what. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

If you do switch, synthetic might bring out a problem that was gonna happen anyways. i dont know how or why it does, but from my experience, it seems to do that. for example, on my 93 5.2L i had 119,000m on it when i switched to synthetic. not long after that, i had a lifter go bad. ever since then it will tap for a while here and there. 30k miles later i havent fixed it though.
