Message: Hi larry i have a 99' 3.9 4x4 auto and lately after it warms up after being driven and then i shut it of for only a little while like 30min and go to drive it when i go to step on the gas it makes a kind of banging noise and a large loss of power then if i step off the gas and then back on it hard it will pull out of it @ 3,000 rpm then it will run fine. any thoughts what it could be?
