i have heard a fiew times on this bored that with the 3.9l that if you put a exhuast on first you will loose power/ but when you put a new intake and v8 throttle body and rrs wouldnt it make the exhaust just like if you did it last??

yeah after you do the intake the exhaust will help it breath some more but you lose low end power when you only do the exhaust. when you do headers first the exhaust gasses have more freedom to flow but if there isnt enough air comming thru the motor then theres not enough back pressure and this kills your torque, trust me. i had to replace broken header bolts on the head so i just bought headers since i had to get in there anyway. havnt had the money to get a new throttle body. my power kick in at about 2000 rpm, and it sucks, believe me

I would assume, if you do exhaust first...you're not gonna see any gains and perhaps a slight loss, but once you do the intake side, you'll see a huge gain.

Whereas, if you do intake side first and then exhaust, all you will see are gains.

In the end, the outcome should be identical...you just won't get to enjoy the "butt dyno" as much.

ya thasts what i thought but you still get the same power in the end so it doesnt mater what order.
