I have a 98 Dakota 4x4, club cab
I average 10.5mpg in town - not in 4wheel drive. Taking EXTRA precaution to drive with mileage in mind. Have new air filter, tune -up, PCV vale, thermostat, O2 sensor. Any ideas to improve mileage?

What part of the country do you live in? Its been -15f here in Iowa alot this year -50 windchills. Takes alot more gas the colder it is. And if your running ethanol winter blended fuel. Take about 2-3 miles off your regular summer mpg. When its real cold like -20 in the mornings I drop her into drive after the first couple minutes of warmup and set the parking brake. Helps the tranny warm up seems like.
