Check out this past forum. It helped me:

Installation of the HS RR's was easy! Read this if you need to..

I did the HS 1.7's last month. They're great. But the driver's side valve cover was really hard to remove on my truck.

The (mopar) valve spring parts I needed were:
#P5249464 x12 springs (0.400-0.525 lift)
#P4452032 x12 retainers
#P4529218 x2 keepers (enough for 8cyl)

These came to over $200 at the cheapest site I found them at. Over $250 from the dealership parts counter.

You might not need to replace the springs, you can read more at this thread:

Save your money, You don't need the springs, stock will do just fine, unless your doing more. I have been running stock springs almost a year now, all is good.

I don't know what "good" push rods and "good" valve springs look like, but the ones I found in my truck's 130kmi-old motor seemed fine to me. All the push rods were straight and the same length. Since my truck's engine so rarely sees revs above 3krpm, I didn't find it necessary to replace anything.

I guess the bottom line is how hard, and for how many more miles, you plan on pushing your truck. I got my 1.7's to help me climb hills without downshifting, but mostly for the pleasure of tearing into my engine for no good reason. If you're getting them to jackrabbit around or race at the track, then you should definitely replace the springs. Otherwise it's just a cost vs. benefit question -- do it if you can afford it.

Hey if you do replace them, you can laugh at me if I throw a valve into a piston and complain about it here!

How much are the valve springs?

A good place to start would be the place you buy them from.
They will be able to tell you......

The stock springs bind just over .500 I would not
go behond a .484 lift

I have instaled the 1.7's in many with over
100,000 miles some of these trucks now have over
200,000 and still running strong

Synthetic fluids proving themselfs I have
customers V6 V8 that are closing 400,000 miles
most are in for oil 2 times a year trans every
30,000 and greased with amsoil moly grease
its amazing how well even the front end parts
hold up with the syns compaired to the old conv
grease

I had 108,000 on mine when I installed RR's stock valve springs, replaced pushrods, I didn't like the looks of the stock ones over the comp cam ones. Not saying that stock wouldn't have worked. I have had no problems, and I tend to wind the rpm's up to 3000 plus at times shifing.
