my 89 dakota v6 141,000 miles started running really ruff last weak.missfire all the time runs ok under 2000 rpm over that forget it just stumbles and bucks.changed all possibles except for the chain and sprockets that might be the issue?yeah also the plugs were very black and sooty.been at the shop 3 days still running tests call u if we have questions.. any one know

Have you tried another coil ?
May be shorting out at high spark..

This is where an old ociliscope works great but
most shops got rid of them.
use a timing light on any wire rev up and watch
light you can see an ignition drop very easy
could also be bad pickup coil
