you put half as much money into it an see a dakota shrinking in the rear view mirror. which ricer are you refering to anyway. stock civics?? stock accords. how about you race a 2002 3.2 cl type s or a Nissan Altima 3.5 V6 with 240hp and then you'll just be able to try to throw stuff in the exhaust pipe as it passes you. Civics ain't fast though..hehehe answer this though, can a stock R/T take out one of the two cars i mentioned before??? I doubt it....daks sound better though
maybe you should race a turbo supra while your at it.

being in college i have one question for you can you move a couch/bed/entertainment center or anything else of size with a civic how many times have you heard "can i borrow your truck??" which of course gets an outstanding "h3ll no!" i ve had a truck since i was 16 and ill have one till i die.

To answer your queston black.
no a Dak R/T cant beat a CL Type S, my sister owns one and it has beaten a couple of Daks includin an R/T and a couple of V8 Camarrows and V8 stangs.
It runs 9 flat 1/8th and its an auto.
She is on a waitin list for the new 6 speed version with limited slip.
btw, she has auto adjusting: mirrors, seat and stereo when she uses her remote entry, her fiancee has one that also adjust all to his 6'5" demensions.
All stock!

1) You live in Orlando and own a red Ford somethingorother with a big "Ford Motorsports" sticker on the windshield, and various stickers on the fender.
2) Your red Ford sounds like a red Honda because of the 8 inch or so exhaust tip.
3) The Rims cost more than the car!
4) You debaged a FORD Escort/Taurus/Whatever it was! (It might have said on the trunk lid...)
5) Some schmo in a Green Dakota V6 Regular cab totally smoked your arse... including the time it took for the Dakota's driver to realize that you -were- trying out accellerate, yet he still took you after a 2nd Gear start (That would be me)
6) You wouldn't make eye contact at the next light, after your red Ford Somethingorother got trashed by a V6 Green Dodge Dakota. :0)

Im 6'5" and i fit into my dakota just fine. I have really long legs too. I have tried other trucks and I fit in this the best. It is more comfortable for me than my dads Ram! I seem to hit my knees on the dash with the bench seat he has. BTW, they are both extended cabs.

I'm 6'2" I don't fit all that well into my truck(Gen2). But, when I drive my dad's accord the steering wheel is almost to far away (when my kneels aren't hitting it).

6' 2" and I fit just fine into my 2000 Regular cab, and I don't even have tilt or electric seats! Of course, my roommate is 6'3" and built like a refridgerator. He doesn't fit so good. It's odd really, I have about 4 inchs head clearance, he has 1. Some people have longer bodies, others have longer legs.

I have a prelude VTEC and bet it would give a good run on a stock dak R/T (stock prelude).
I raced an R/T in my dodge stealth R/T and wohoo was that fun... traded in my R/T for a sport dak though... no more R/T :(
So, I take it most people here son't like heavily modified hondas and mazdas etc...??

I don't mind foreign cars made to go fast...
I -do- mind foreign (and American) cars that -don't- go fast by are made to look like they do. The ones with the tri-level wings that are a lesson in rediculously useless aerodynamics...
I have no problem with a decent, tasteful, well done modification to any vehical. But when you have a 1.5" exhaust, what is a 6" tip going to do for you? -That- is what I don't like.
I have a friend with a Subaru WRX, I can fit my fist in his exhaust tip. But, I helped install the exhaust, and that bugger is nearly that big all the way back! That car is awesome, as is my Mothers 2001 Subaru Outback 5-speed. Talk about fun to drive! Heck, I almost bought a Honda Accord 2-door 5-speed V6 back in 1999, except the local Honda dealer refused to get me one. It was, "Take the 2-door automatic or the 4-door stick with lots of options you don't want or nothing at all", so I got nothing at all. :0)
Don't regret that, I love my Dakota. But I've seen a 'riced' out Dakota down here already. Lowered almost to the ground, monster rims with tiny sidewall tires, gaudy-arse paint that seemed to change from green to purple to yellow to orange depending on how the light hit it, stickers all over, a double decker wing on the tailgate and a single on the top of the cab... he did have a nice bed cover though, nice fit... oh, and -dual- 8" exhaust tips. Probally was a 4-Cyl, didn't sound nearly as good as my V6... and he kept revving it to ear-bleed RPMs.

id agree with liblackdak that i like both muscle and ricers, but not about the toyota comment. i mean, i liked the cars in fast and furious and of course gone in 60 seconds. but id say my next ride will be a trans am or a mustang. (unless i win the lottery then ill have a parkin garage full of cars and a tiny shack to live in.)

I don't care where it is from,(I prefer muscle cars though)if it can run 13's or less I respect it. I don't like the guys that make there cars look fast and then do nothing to the engine.

someone asked you to open the hood and you don't know how because you have never looked at that part of your car before.
and after you get the hood open you can't find the engine
you are beatten by a ford ranger

You drive a Geo Metro with a 6" exhaust tip, chrome rims, and stickers up the wazzo as well as custom paint and a crappy stereo.
No lie, I saw this vehicle. It was in Daytona Beach... thought I heard a real sick bumble bee until it pulled up next to me at a light.
