does anyone know if the trans for the 5.2/5.9 would bolt to the 3.9? or if there the same ? i know alot of the components are prety much identical, so mabe they are too?

You just need the proper torque converter to match
to the engine and the tranny
re balancing and 'timing'.

maybe the yoke for the drive shaft may be a little different, and your stock drive shaft may be too long. But it shouldn't be hard to find some one who can shorten it, just be sure to measure from the center of the rear U joint to where the center of the yoke (transmission end) will be and the people can cut and reatach the yoke to the drive shaft and you will be ready to go. Oh yeah, when measuring for the drive shaft lenght, be sure the yoke is mid way in, push the yoke all the way in then pull out about half way then measure to the rear U joint.
