Anyone with an MSD system here? I'm about to buy the offroad one with a new coil and I was wondering if they noticed anything different with the system. Doesn';t have to be the off road one, any type. Just need some input. Thanks!

Actually I got a whole system box, coil etc, for my 76 Jeep Wag but before the wag was ready I put it on my 94 Dak for a couple weeks. It really seemed to have better starting and gas milage as well as more midrange power. I have resolved to get another one for the Dak when money allows.

I have the MSD 6A and Accel direct bolt-on coil along with Taylor wires and 3923's. The only thing that really jumped out at me after installation was a much smoother idle. I don't pay any attention to gas mileage as most of my driving is around the city with a heavy foot and if there was an improvement in power it was small enough so my butt dyno couldn't really feel it.

I have a write-up on my ignition with part numbers and what-not on my web site.
