the rev limiter is set by the comp at 4800rpm
and can only be changed with a flash
speed limiter can be temp bypased by holding the
key all the way to start position and no the
starter will not activat when in gear
Before they stoped doing the obd1's I had mine
removed shifts at 5000rpm but no one will
touch them any more
96 and up they will still custom flash obd2

one other thing here power begains to drop off
at 4400rpm and over 5000 in a stock motor there
is no power there anyway
the 1.7's will raise the peak to 4600rpm stock
peak is 4400 torque peak stock 3200, 3400 with
the 1.7 rockers
