Actually, the principle of the 'twistadent' is sound.

Body shops routinely use small nail-sized rods, drill a small hole in the panel, weld the rod into the body panel, and pull on them with a weighted pull hammer. This leaves a small hole and a weld mark on the panel of the vehicle. Not everything can be pushed out from the inside of the panel.

What this product appears to do is simply glue a threaded rod assembly on the outside of the panel, then use the torque from the threading to pull the dent out. This saves refinishing time if there is no paint damage, which the body shop method described previously would certainly do.

The big question is: Does the glue hold under pressures required to pull out the dent? That would be my only concern. Other than that, it appears to be a good idea for small dent repair.

Just my two cents.....

the easiest way to fis small dents is to take a chunk or dry ice and hold it to the centewr of the dent. the temperature of the ice will stick to the dent and pop the dent back out it might take a few tomes though. for dewnts bigger thean a fist take a hair dryer and blowdry the dent for a good 30 seconds and then imeditly grab your can of CO2. hold can upside down and spray onto dent surface for about 15 seconds. within minutes you will hear the metal reforming and pulling back out to normal. don't beleive me whatch it here
