most make there own. Chech so-cal dakota or hughesengines.com I have a stock one that i would part with, most companies require a core or they charge you( in case you didn't wanna have your truck tore down while they cut you intake)you could send them a core and then sell yours when you got the new one.

i dont really understand wat u mean by core cgang? but i was looking intakes for my truck and some say k&n or intense performance, but what about a 10" edelbrock air hat otheres have written saying those r best. i just want to get wat will work best with my 3.9l

Eric, what do you want to get from your "intake"? i think robert is talking about and intake manifold. i assume your wanting some type of "cold" air intake. no one has concrete proof that their CAI performs better on the 3.9 than anyone elses. if you're looking for mpg's i'd go with the 10" edelbrock.

personally, i just took that stupid horn off the stock air box and expanded that opening.

I want mpg but i was talking to jeff a mechanic at my shop and asked about the edelbrock 10" with k&n 2.25 or something in it and he said ill just get water in my intake with a cold air setup or the edelbrock 10"
