 Subject: Raced a Chevy 5.3

Hey, I just raced a new chevy 1/2 ton 2x4 extended cab with the 5.3 liter V8. I pulled up beside him in 2 lanes and he looked at me and started line locking it while the light was red. When it turned green he beat me off the line but I caught up with and passed him easily I was about a truck length up when we came to a curve at about 70 mph and I saw a cop sitting beside the road. We let off after that and I had to turn off. I loved it b/c I know he saw the V6 emblems when we were sitting there and he thought he would smoke the 6 er but guess he will know better next time.
V6 auto,CC, 2x4, Magnaflow, K&N pretty much stock

Ya right.....believe me , he wasn't trying if it was a 5.3.....how do you know it had a 5.3, it doesn't say on the chevys. If it was a 4x2 it could have been a 4.8 V-8 or even a 4.3 V-6......a 3.9 can't cope with a 5.3....or is yours not stock??
