Subject: P0113 IAT high output circuit

This code came up, I understand that it is the IAT temp sensor high output. I already replaced it once. I ran a voltage check and it is at 5.11 when it should be at 5V. Will replacing the sensor fix the problem or is it in the wiring? I read somewhere that having a cold air intake sometimes throws a code. The truck is not running bad at all. In fact the drive ability of the truck is unaffected. I didn't change the location of the IAT also, It is in it's stock location. I am really getting sick of seeing the engine light on . it's one thing after another. I'am thinking I should just replace it again and see what happens since it is so cheap. Any thoughts?

Thanks

if the IAT reads a temp below 50 degrees after
a few minits it will trip a code sensor voltage
to high

It is located behind the altonator in the number
2 intake runner 2 wiresright near the cable
bracket pass side

If a new sensor cures it replace it the sensor
is a varible with heat resistor and is feed 5 volt
the resistance drops the volts

you can check the wires but if shorted a new
sensor would not fix it

replace it do not over tighten just good and snug
