Subject: '93 Auto to Manual

Ok so I have a '91 Dakota with a 3.9L LA engine with a 5-speed. I have recently purchased a '93 Dakota 3.9L Magnum with an Auto. Now I have an NV3500 from a '95 Dakota. I know I'll need a Clutch and Flywheel for the Magnum engine but as far as clutch pedal/hydraulics and such I can take that stuff from my '91 what I'm really more concerned about is wiring... what differences are there between an Auto and a Manual if there are any at all? Also would I have to swap the PCM out to one for a Manual truck? any words of wisdom on this would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

you will need the pcm for a manual. might have to replace some connectors too for the different tranny. as for the tranny comming from a 91, that shouldnt be a problem because i know i can use a 46RH from a 91 on my 93 cause they are the same.

I'll be using a NV 3500 from a '95 truck but I'll be using the clutch master and slave setup from my '91 one of the biggest concerns of mine is my truck is mech. speedo and the tranny looks setup for electronic I'm not sure if the auto trans is electronic or not as I havn't gotten to crawl under there due to weather. I sure hope everything works.. right now i'm trying to get as much info as possible before i order a mass of parts for this
