no codes "pdone"

what would make the idle on my truck not come down normally when shifting in between gears? the idle seems to stay right around 1000rpms and when i shift into next gear the truck jerks and bucks. usually it would drop to about 600-700 rpms when shifting between gears.

i replaced the TPS sensor today thinking maybe that would help. i'll have to drive it a few hundred miles probly to see. i have 77,000 miles on the truck and i'm trying to replace the sensors one by one anyways so at least i have a new TPS if that wasn't the problem.

i'm considering replacing the IAT sensor too. from relocating many times it has now starting to turn inside the actual housing if you try to turn in like at the part where the harness connects to it. Advance auto said it's calle the "Air charge" sensor. anyways, would this sensor have anything to do with my idle problem?

ok well thanks everyone for your help.

My old '97 used to do that. I never figured it out and I changed out just about every sensor on the damn thing.
