I'm still reading and going nuts. Which one of these will cause my truck not to start. No Gas or Fire at top of coil. Fixed wire splice and checked connections , fuses, grounds. Where is Tps? Where is Map sensor ? Is the Cam Crank Sensor the same thing as the Crank Position Sensor? Where is Iag? and finally for now where is the EGR? You have to know I have always been able to fix my own stuff until now. The only mechanic in town tried to chrge me $300.00 for a fuel pump on another car and it ended up costing $15.00 and 20 minutes. I don't have a way to tow to another town and would like to learn about it.

My light never came on and I tried the key thing nothing. It's a 1992 3.9 auto /w overdive/2wd. I have fixed the wire splice and checked all grounds and visible connections/fuses. I am not getting spark at the top of the coil and no fuel. It was running fine no abnormal noise that wasn't there before. It just stopped no sputter nothing. I pulled over/coasted and tried to start it. It turns over/ no noise just doesn't start. Thanks Toby In Texas

was it ok before you fixed the wire splice? sounds like the coil itself but i've never heard or seen one just quit like that. no spark at coil i would think meant something electrical but i don't know much about electrical so i'll just shut up now.
