My 96 3.9 is running crazy. Going down the road and it will start acting as if it's running out of fuel. Then it will back fire some and stall. Very hard to get cranked again. Then it may run fine for a few days. Coding that it's the throttle position sensor and map sensor. Which one should I replace? Or could it be another problem?
Thanks.

If over 100,000 miles I would say better to change em both, only with Mopar Sensors.

If not, check the small hose on the Map Sensor, and remove the TPS and clean it with some carb cleaner (without pushing in on the plunger.

you people got your sensors mixed up!! TPS sensor DOES NOT have a plunger on it. that's the IAC sensor and it's on the back of the throttle body, TPS is on the drivers side of throttle body.
