Hi i recentley bought a tb from a 93 5.9 and I was wondering if I should remove the torque lip in the new TB? I plan on removeing the towers or what ever they are on top of the TB and than rolling the top into the air horn for a smother transition. I was wondering how this sounded caus i herd if you remove the lip it causes the lil V6's to kinda stummble? but im not shure so im rechecking.

smooth out the top and make yourself an S-bolt to replace that funky thing the factory put on there to hold the airhat down. but do not take the torque step out.

The v8 tb already flows more than any stock v6 can possibly use. Why try to get it to flow more. You might be able to make it look prettier but you certainly won't gain any performance.

bolt on as is it flows 635cfm
92 to 95 need 92 to 95 V8 body egr type
96 and up need 96 up V8 body none egr
use all your v6 sensors because you know there
good but you may need to swap the throttle cable
all else is the same
