hello, iīm in brazil and got a 99 v6 3.9 dakota, i need a little help for my rods choose , i īm thinking in using 318 īs forjed H beam ones to open my rpm band, i need some tips and some info about V6īs rods cause here in brazil is realy hard finding good info on mopars,
Here is my project,i expect to get something like 350 hp on my v6 without nos so here we go.
- work the crank to the 318 rods,
- 100,92 mm dome forjed pistons
- mopar ( socaldakota ) heads with 5 angle job and other mods.
- crowers 1.7 roller rockers kit ( guide plates and studs )
- compcams 540 lift or socaldakotaīs camshaft to work with the 1.7 RR without the vacium problem.
- mopar performance valvessprings ( double )
- compleate Brazilian racing fuel and spark mangment ( www.fueltech.com.br )
- nos kit with 6 foggers to burn 150 hp of wet nos .( 2 stages )
- new handmade aluminum intakemanifold with 6 independent TBIīs ( these iīm buyldinh here in brazil )
- tax de motor to work with brazilian alchohol something like 12,1,1.
- Double timing chain JPīs ones
- Compleate TVS hotchkis system
- caltracs traction bars
well thatīs it please send me some comments about my expected mods and how much should i expect of gains in these ok , LARRY thanks for your posts very nice and learnable value info is hard to find , when i finish mine iīll be visiting EUA, and iīll be glad to dragrace you hehehe thanks a lot

once the crank is machined to except the 318's
wider rod you can use ether H or I beam alm or
steel
I am running the h beam in my stroker motors and
have turned 6,000 rpm 1,000's of times never a
whimper out of the motor
with the nitrious and having control of the timing
and fuel 300 pluss anyway
my stroker with the 4.0 stroke is 309/322 rear
wheel with an ASE chiped computer ASE no longer
sells these chips in the USA

Nice tue up you did in your , iīm thinking of these pistons mesures what mesures and type re u using man ? , i thhink i can use the pistons and rods for the 318 to 390 , the i ll work the crank here , or go with these 100,92 mm and the 318 h beams with 6.123, thats it man please if you have time please send me some info on your mods , like messures of the stroker ok , marcos.belli@hotmail.com

hey JJ how did you do with your crank ?? i wonder how am i goning to do with it since i ll use the 390 stroker parts for the 318 in my 3.9 V6 Magnum , pistons and rods ll fit nicely but i ll need preaty much to work the crank to these kit can you help me with some tips and mesures ,cause here i canīt find these kind of info, sorry my bad english and wait for reply
