Q: ABS speed sensor( rear deff.)is this sensor in any way related to transmision or engine performance .What the role it playing????

Without it working , it will probably not go in to Over drive , and depending on year , may not
give speedometer reading.
And of course -stops ABS system from working
so brakes will lock up very easy = skidding.

There is a speed sensor on the drivers side of
trans

This will effect trans and also 96 and up RE
trans also have the pressure sensor and sol
computer controled gov pressure

the sensor on rear is for antilock brakes
