Hello folks
I have 2001 V6 11400 mi that has developed this problem over the last couple days. All is well when I first start the truck and the first few miles, but then all goes to hell. I get a very rough idle at stop lights and the engine bogs way down when accelerating. I can have the pedal to the floor and go no faster than 20 and then it'll slam into gear and struggle to the next one.
Only happens after the first few miles, seems to idle alot rougher when in gear than park. Had at the shop today, codes indicated misfires on 4 and 6 and O2 sensor reading too rich. I had dist cap, plugs wires replaced, but still same prob. I didn't mind replacing plugs and wires since it was about time anyway, but don't want to start guessing at fuel pumps, O2 sensors, ect as it will get expensive fast.
Anybody have some suggestions? I'm hoping its something stupid like a vacuum line or stuck valve but don't know where to look. Thanks in advance

I'm having same problem with my 94 3.9. Checked fuel pump and replaced catalytic converter. No check engine light though. Did notice that when warmed up idle drops to 200 when in gear.
