I have a 87 4x4 and i wanna know how large of a tire i can get. I currently am running my dads 04 stock wrangler tires and wheels (15" wheel) and those tires are too small. I wanna use this wheel, so whats the biggest I can go? 31? 32?

I have an 88 3.9 5 speed 4X4, the biggest tire I can get to fit is a 9.5 x 30 15. It will fit without any problems, other than making the speedo be off a little they work fine. Any bigger and you will need to do some cutting, or body lift.
Good Luck

Oh yeah, you could go bigger on the rear, but then you would have all kinds of problems in 4 wheel drive. I think the 30 inch is the biggest you can go without problems on the front.
Good Luck

Alright. I was hoping to here maybe 31.... but then again, thats alot of tire to stuff under this small truck...lol. My dads wrangler currently has some 31's and im gonna switch out our wheels and tires when i do my brake and rotors this weekend and see what happens. If it all works, hell, i will buy his tires from him..lol

Anyone else?
