Ok, are you ready for this one?

Help me out on the whole greasing the ball joints or whatever it is needs to be greased?

What do I need to grease them with? Is there a grease gun? Is there a recommended bran of grease or tools?

I know these seem like dumb questions, but you get the point of what I am asking. I just need a little help here that is all.

I am also getting a squeak coming from the rear end. I installed hotchkis leaf springs, coil spring, and bilstein shocks on all 4 corners. What do you think would be making the squeak?

Clucool, if you have a 2 wheel drive you may only have 2 or 3 fittings (grease) on each side, if you have 4wheel drive, you may have a couple more. 2 Ball joints, and maybe tie rod ends. Each side (I don't know for sure) You can get a grease gun at Wal-mart for less than $25. Also, try to get synthetic grease. Be sure to have a rag with you to clean off the fittings, you don't want to push dirt into the joints.
As for the squeak, it could be the rubber bushings for the leaf springs are dry. Just soak them with WD-40 and let set over night and drive to see if it worked. One point, I have done that before and it took 2 days before it stopped squeaking.

WD40 or any other distillant rots the rubber

best thing i've found to work on squeaky rubber bushings is silicone spray lube. i'm with OBIO3 on the WD40.

Clu, depending what year dak you have, you may not have any grease fittings. i know my '00 doesn't have any.

I have a 2002 and there are ZERO grease fittings in the front end which i think totally sucks!!! there's nothing better than a good lube job but Mopar really screwed that one up!

No F'in grease fittings unless you change the ball joints, both ends of tie rod and universals. With some good quality aftermarket stuff.

WTF do these engineers think? all about production and cheapest bidder I suppose.

actually, i think it was that they figured 90% of the owners wouldn't know what a grease zerk is. much less what to do with it.

not sure. just look at the ends of the outer tierods, balljoints and u-joints. for a 4x2 that should be all you have on there if you have them at all.
