Originally it wouldn't accelerate and idle roughly only when the engine was cold. Now it does it when the engine is cold and warm. I can plant the throttle and it will only maintain, until eventually something will give and it will take off like normal. I have yet to see any idiot lights. It has 80,000 miles, manual tranny, and the plugs and wires were replaced 10,000 miles (a year) ago as a preventative measure. Any thoughts??

I had a similar problem with my truck (2002 5 speed)around same mileage. ended up being the fuel pump. Did you replace the cap and rotor with your last tune up?

could be the engine temp sensor. did you try the key on/off/on/off/on trick to display. you can sometimes trip a code without a light.
