I have a '99 Dakota with a 3.9L in it. Are the head bolts torque to yield?

I believe they are but they no longer suggest that you replace them all. They only replace the ones that go into the water jacket. On the other hand, the bolts are so cheap, even from the dealer, that you might want to just replace them.

I bought new head bolts Friday. You guys are right, what is $29 after a $400 head rebuild?
