I plan on getting the flowmaster deltaflow 40 series. I am tight on money and i know i would be cheaper to just pput a turn down at the rear axle rather than get a full exhaust. will the turn down effect back pressure has nebody done this and it sound good?

Depends on if you wanna deal with the drone...if you're driving in town and wanna turn heads, dump it. If you do a lot of highway driving, run pipes. Highway drone with a dumped 40 series gets annoying...and my passengers complain even more. In town it's nice being able to turn heads and occasionally set off car alarms as I pass:)

You'll prolly need a myspace account to view this...but this was recorded in my truck (before I had the high-flow cat installed) with the windows up. That'll show you how loud a standard 40 series is dumped. Should be a lil quieter with the delta flow, but even a delta flow will be loud dumped since it'll be echoing everything back up into the truck.
