When I go wheeling and playing in mud/water, it sometimes kills my tuck. I will first notice it bogging and then die. If I let it sit and "dry" it will take forever to fire but when it does it spits and sputters and act like its getting intermittent spark. What gives?

spray your wires with silicon spray let dry
this will seal them

Your getting something wet and its shorting out

If you like to drive in lakes get a good quonity
of dielectric grease and unplug all the conectors
fill with this grease and plug back togather this
will keep the water out

plugs were just changed not too long ago, wires are factory and not sure about the cap and rotor but pretty sure its time to be changed... I figured it might be water getting in the cap or something like of the works causing my troubles. Are there any other ways to protect from water?

Always keep a can of CRC or WD-40 in the truck it can help even after water gets in. started many cars with CRC. Its about time for a tune-up though with the original Cap-Rotor-Wires get good stuff pay a cpl bucks more now for quality. keep the old stuff in the truck just in case. order from Summit Racing Mopar Performance cap/rotor/wire set if you want better than stock factory parts
