does anyone know how i can convert my 6 lug 93 dakota to 5 lug without great expense, i'm wanting to get weld dragstar wheels and they only come in 5 lug.

you may be able to swap out front spindles and axleshafts from a 1987-1990
would be expensive and take some work, but it can be done
1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars

R u sure it can be done, or just guessing? Who makes five star wheels six lug? If i can find the wheels, that's all i need. I appreciate the info but looking for somthing less expensive.

the parts are all the same, are you a 4x4 or 4x2
the spline count on the 95 4x4 front spindle was different than the 1990 i have
but the CV shafts all have the same bolt patern on the axle stub
the rear end would require all new axle shafts and might as well replace the seals as long as you do it
junk yard would be the best bet
