Any opinion on the Injen air filter? I'm in the proccess of making a custom intake with PVC. I researched some of the performance filters out there and Injen is the only one that will let me specify the inlet size. The others want the make and model of the vehicle and that is not going to help.
I like the price of the Injen filter and the fact that it is a wash and reuse filter, but if you have had bad results or know of something better let me know.

K&N cone filter around $40

This order the size you need to clamp to your
home brew cold air system

I have seen many home brew cold air systems just
as good as the ones you pay $100's for

they work very well

Are you saying K&N is better? I think the inlet size is going to be about 2.25"-2.5" (not finished yet.) Is that big enough, or should I try to make it bigger?
Can you steer me in the direction of a website that lets me select the size? I found the Injen at autoanything.com. They also have K&N, but will not let me select specs.

I'm sorry I'm bombarding you with questions. I don't have much to spend so I want to make it worth it.

One more question (sorry.)

The breather hose that runs from the valve cover to the existing air filter assymbly...can that be capped off or should I incorporate it into the new one? If I can't cap it off how should I go about filtering it?

Got to admire your product loyalty.

ow screw off, how much does K&N pay you?

Steve and I actually earn money from our Amsoil businesses.
And, neither of us would do it were it not proved that Amsoil products are, in fact better.
Real easy for us. We are telling the truth.

You'd best watch for Algore and the flatulence police.

I prefer to take sugestions from people who are not paid by the product developers. You tend to be biast when they write you a check every time you send orders their way.
I appreciate your input, shatto, but I'm gonna have to go with Larry on this one.
