what would cause anti-freeze in the oil? luckily this isnt my truck, it's a buddy's s-10. the thing's like 20 years old, but he's poor and it's all he has. it died, he asked me to look at it and i noticed the coolant was way low and the oil level was way up on the dipstick and it looked like it had anti freeze in the oil. im thinking it's a cracked block, either way im sure it's not worth fixing, especially on a chevy.
thanks

All it sounds like is just a head blown gasket all you got to do is just find out witch side is blown and repace it but you might as well change both gaskets since you did all that work just to get to the gasket
