I was playing my radio loud the other day when suddenly my CD player just cut off and now it wont cut back on. i checked the fuse on the back of the radio and also the fuse on the fuse panel on the drivers side of the truck in the cab. everying was fine and nothing blown, but nothing cuts on. then that night i got in and the cab light wont cut on. checked the fuse, everything is ok there also. put a new bulb and still dosent work. is there a fuse around the engine sumwere? and if there is were? is it mayb a relay or sumthing? its an 88 3.9l with 4wd

an 88 wont have the underhood fuses
at least i dont think they do, been a while since i had to look at it

i had a similar problem on the 95, but it was an instrument panel fuse or soemthing stupid like that

1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars

it was. funny thing is i replaced it, and it blew 4 fuses in a row. finnaly i put a 30 in it and it held fine. come to find out my tailights wernt working either because the License Plate lights wires were melted and started arching n shorting stuff out in teh truck. better get that fixed...
